it sucks!!!

granted, i just started last week, the stuff is so foreign to me! i get scared whenever i have to compute numbers!

my car wouldn't start last night after going to Sean's house.. i think i need to get a new alternator.. but it's stuck over his house in Redford (i guess i can take comfort in the fact that it happened to me there and not at a gas station or something).

this is such an inconvenience!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hate when you go to some stores and someone is talkin fresh to you.

i was wearing something rather low cut, and it was just a cami.. and a pair of shorts, and yes, i was wearing a thin strapped bra (hey i need to wear one!)and this chaldean at the liquor store behind the counter was calling me sweety, honey, baby.. etc.. that culture does that though, i mean, talk to women like that.. more as a friendly thing than sexy.. but this was odd...

i don't like guys talking to me like that.. and i told sean, and asked 'if you were with me and some guy said that to me, would you say something?' and he more jokingly than serious said 'of course i would!'

i have a major sunburn on my shoulders.. i was out in the yard pulling weeds all day saturday

i have this week off of work! yay!

vacation.


i had today off and have all of next week off.. i was already bored today! i came home at 8 a.m. from Sean's.. (he was going into work), and showered and ate and then tried to go back to sleep but couldn't.. then at 11, i got in gear and dropped off 3 pairs of shoes at this shoe repair shop, went to farmer jack to take advantage of a sale, worked out, filled up on gas, came home, mowed the lawn, pulled weeds and cleaned up our walk area (for about an hour and a half!).. my dad offered to pay me for this, but i said 'i live here for free, it's the least i can do' and i actually enjoyed pulling weeds! lol! i'll do more tomorrow!

my room is atrocious (sp?), this week will be the only opportunity i'll have to clean it! i need to put my bookcase together and my dresser... too many clothes!!

confession:

i woke up in the middle of the night and was hungry, so i ate a piece of leftover birthday cake.. i haven't been to the gym in over a week! i feel guilty!

must go work out

ok, so i'm still working this crappy real estate job, seriously only have like 2 or 3 more scheduled days...

well, lauren called me a few weeks ago wanting to trade hours, and i thought she wanted me to work for her tomorrow morning from 9-1, but apparently this was not the case. I'm driving today, on my way to take care of some errands, and i get a phone call at about 1:10..

Me: 'hello?'
real estate one: 'hi sarah, it's ...., are you on your way?'
me: 'what?'

yeah, i'm not scheduled for tomorrow, rather i was for today 1-5, and so here i am, at real estate one, wearing shorts and flip flops..

can't wait to be done with this stupid job and all the snobby agents!

we had this stupid thing for work the other day, called 'Ecology Day' where we go and clean up everywhere... and this was a reply to all staff that someone originally sent saying we did good.. This is the Reply from our CEO.. ever hear of spell check?

I second Ed’s comments. ZI couldn’t be more pleased with the great job everyone did of cleaning up their respective work stations and shared areas such as closets, storage areas, etc.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -- Gov. Rick Perry signed a law Friday to give juries the option of sentencing murderers to life without parole -- a measure some foes of capital punishment believe will lead to fewer executions in the No. 1 death penalty state.

Up until now, juries in capital murder cases in Texas had two options: the death penalty, or life in prison with the possibility of parole after 40 years. The new law takes away any chance of parole.

i'm glad to be almost done with real estate one (REO)...

i have scheduled my vacation (for my real, FULL time job) the week of the 4th of july, and i have, Monday, July 1st off.. so the other day, i get a call at the credit union, someone from REO asking if i'd be able to work that weekend (the 2nd and 3rd), because the other 2 weekend people are apparently going out of town, (one with their boyfriend... i was suppose to go to Toronto with Sean that week, but he needed to get a new car cause his died, so due to $ issues, we won't go).. and anyways, i just said 'i'm on vacation that week, and weekend' (duh, there's a reason why i didn't sign up for those OPEN hours).. but i said 'tell Jan (office mgr) that i'm on vacation that week, but if she ABSOLUTLEY NEEDS someone, i'll see what i can do'.. though i'd rather not work that time, because it's MY FREAKING VACATION!

i can't wait to be done with that place, the annoying weekly or bi-weekly phone calls that consist of 'Hi Sarah, this is ... from 'the office' (i hate when they say the office, i work in 2 offices, but it sounds super lame) we really need someone to cover tonight because xxx is sick and i can only stay till 5, and i know you work during the day.. etc' and i gladly call back and say 'nope, can't do it, i've got school and i work till after 5' i've even said this to the office manager.. i love it...

but i do get calls on a regular basis asking if i can cover for someone, because they're moving, they don't feel well, or whatever.. and i am tired of it.. even if i decline everytime.. the calls are annoying.. my phone number is reserved for important people to call me!

it was incredibly nasty out today.. very humid and technically, it's still spring.. i'm not a summer fan.. i prefer fall and winter.. fall is probably my favorite, i love the crisp air, the changing leafs, the dew on the lawn in the morning..

I talked to Sean today about an ad i saw in a flyer for Meijer for a pool.. it's only 4 feet deep, but it's pretty big.. it's near $600, but if he's interested, i'm willing to split the cost.. it would be nice to have access to a pool during the summer (my parents have never allowed us to have one, and still won't allow it!).. so we'll see where this goes.. i'll be very happy with a pool though.. even if it's not at my house..

i've been keeping up with the piston's and the playoffs.. i'm very pleased to see that they won tonight, with a lead of close to 20 points against miami.. let's see if they can do the same for game 7 on monday..

OHHHH i got an email from my boss the other day.. we have auditors/state examiners come in annually, or semi-annually to make sure things are being done right.. and i've been auditing the loan files for a year now.. and the loan dept got a good rating on the most recent audit, and i'm getting $50 (the VP of lending thought i deserved it, and that i helped them obtain that rating).. but i'm very excited.. i'm just happy that my work is appreciated.. and this will look great during my review in august.. hopefully it means a really good raise too!

went out tonight with angela.. we were gonna go to the movies but played pool instead and i called up this guy karl that we graduated with that works with my brother, and he came up and played pool a little with us.. then we went to buffalo wild wings (the new one in ferndale) along with Chris, who we also graduated with.. i had a shot of tequila, and two long islands and they followed me home...

i feel just a lil drunk right now

this weekend was suppose to be a harpua (sean's dog) filled weekend, and sean had to go to Ohio for work because of his hoe-ass boss... i'm missin out on harpua love! i met a few dogs today with angela in royal oak and got some furry love there!
